Editorial design for the tale of "Rikki Tikki Tavi", from Rudyard Kipling's "Jungle Book".
Some inspiration:

The tittle is cut from the cover, and allows to see part of the jungle pattern. To see part of something, is the feeling left after reading the book, that has many reading layers. Does the hero is a real hero? Does the villain is a real villain? How is murder accepted in children's stories? Does a bad action justify the ends?..
The text style and illustrations were meant to accentuate the action and environment of the story.
